Content marketing writer, Jacqui McCallum speaks to a client about their content marketing strategy

Strategic and refreshing content that’ll help build your profile and grow your business

  • You know you need to be out there sharing your ideas, opinions and expertise with the world.
  • You’re just so damn busy running your business that you never get around to putting fingers to keyboard.
  • Writing weekly Linkedin articles and daily social media posts feels like extra pressure. Pressure you don’t need.

What do you need? A gun writer who can reach into your brain, extract your genius and weave it into content that sounds like you, only better.

I help time poor business owners create content that makes people sit up, nod and share with the caption ‘This’. I’ve worked as a feature writer for The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Financial Review and I’m regularly published in Mamamia and Kochie’s Business Builders. I’m also the go-to ghost writer for some of Australia’s top executives and thought leaders.

Now it’s your turn.

What’s on the content marketing menu?

So many platforms, so little time. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to show up in a way that captivates and inspires, I can help craft:

  • Feature articles for magazines, websites or LinkedIn
  • SEO-optimised blogs for your website
  • Content for your e-book or latest downloadable
  • Media releases that’ll generate interest in you and your latest offering
  • A non-blah bio for your LinkedIn profile or upcoming conference
  • Video scripts for your website or social media channels
  • A speech or presentation for your next speaking gig
  • Social media content that stops scroller in their tracks

Five reasons you’ll thank me later

  • You’ll have a bank of compelling content you’re proud to share.

  • You’ll gain the respect of your colleagues, clients and community.

  • You’ll inspire customer loyalty while gaining more leads and traffic.

  • You’ll be able to get on with the day-to-day running of your business

  • You’ll ignite meaningful change in the world by sharing your brilliance.

Sounds great, but let’s talk dollars.

Once we’ve had an initial chat, I can provide a custom quote to suit your content marketing needs. If you have a lot of bits of pieces that you need to outsource, hiring me on a day rate is probably the best option.

Half Day

From $800 plus GST
  • Perfect for: Small jobs like an 800-word LinkedIn article/blog or a short video script or a media release

Full Day

From $1,500 plus GST
  • Perfect for: Two 800-word articles or a 1400-word profile or tagline development (8 options with justification)

Content that has raised the bar

“Jacqui’s brilliant content development has raised the bar significantly with our brand position in the local market. Blue Budgie provides a professional service and I could not recommend more highly.”

Bevan Uren, Founder and CEO, BCT Group

Hang on, I’ve got a question.

Book me in for two, three or more. Just be aware that I will probably have to space multiple days out over a week or two due to other client commitments.

If you’re in Melbourne and need me to collaborate with your team, I’m open to working in your office. I’ll just need to add travel time and expenses to your quote.

Don’t fret. If it involves words, I can probably do it.

No. I provide all the words including meta titles, meta descriptions and suggested image file names to strengthen SEO. You will need to source your own images and design work. I can recommend some great creative agencies and freelance designers that I’ve worked with for years.

I prefer to provide a custom quote based on your needs because if you work in a specialised industry (law, tech, etc) I’ll need more time for research. As a rough guide, a package of four standard blogs (600 to 800 words) starts at $2,400 plus GST.

Yes. I love teaching people how to nail their content. At the moment I offer 1:1 copy coaching sessions that are fully tailored to your needs. Blog coaching sessions are particularly popular.

You don’t need another blah blog. You need content that captivates your ideal clients.

Do something your future self will high five you for. Invest in great content.
